The Story Behind DIP in and out with Lucy.

Born from a simple yet powerful idea: to create a dedicated space where the difficult subject of domestic abuse could be addressed openly and comprehensively. What began as a concept has evolved into an essential resource for those impacted by abuse, whether directly or indirectly.

The podcast helps break down the stigmas so that we can all learn more about the complexities of domestic abuse and post-separation abuse. Knowing where to access support for yourself or someone else isn’t always that easy and can feel very overwhelming.

This is where DIP in and out with Lucy steps in. “For some, it is simply feeling validated in their experience of abuse that can help them move forward,” explains Lucy.

One of the unique strengths of this podcast is its accessibility during moments of worry and uncertainty. Not just for victims and survivors but also support and understanding for family, friends and work colleagues who may find it difficult to know what to say to a loved one or colleague who has or is experiencing abuse.

It will help people access support on their own terms, exactly when they need it most. Meaning, they can dip in and out when necessary.

Lucy is currently undertaking International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation to deliver trauma-informed coaching through DIP in and out with Lucy C.I.C.

Her coaching sessions help victims and survivors rebuild their lives after abuse, manage co-parenting and legal challenges, and reconnect with their identity and goals.

She has seen a significant rise in victims and survivors seeking support & her aim is to make coaching accessible – offering low-cost sessions now and free sessions in the future through funding.
